Avocados are super versatile, nutritious, and delicious. Did you know avocados were actually berries? How interesting, right? These berries are praised for their nutritional benefits and for good reason. First, start by slicing the avocado lengthwise and removing the pit. Then, use a potato masher, food processor, or a hand blender to mash it until smooth. Next, chop the chocolate into evenly sized pieces to ensure even melting. Then melt it using either a double boiler on the stovetop or microwave.
Now, let the chocolate cool down to room temperature and add the melted chocolate to the mashed avocado and mix until combined. Next, stir in powdered monk fruit, vanilla extract, and cacao powder and stir well to combine.
Next, grease your hands slightly and roll the batter into even-sized balls. This batter makes around 15 to 18 truffles. Use a small cookie scoop to scoop the batter for rolling which will achieve even-sized chocolate truffles. Once the awesome truffle balls are ready, you can coat these with any preferred coatings. Please check out some fun coating ideas below.
These avocado chocolate truffles never last long enough in our home, but they will keep well for 3 to 5 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator. You can also freeze these truffles and put them in the fridge the day before to defrost a bit.

Bonbons and truffles are similar in shape and often sold next to each other in chocolate shops. The difference between the two is that bonbons have a chocolate fondant shell and the candy is filled with liqueur or another type of sweet center. Truffles have chocolate centers and are often coated or dusted in another ingredient.
For truffles that are healthier or higher in antioxidants, extra dark chocolate or sugar free chocolate chips (for keto chocolate truffles) can be used instead of semi sweet chocolate chips. White chocolate also works.
With a design featuring a stunning cursive Compartés logo on a wild California spring orchard with peacock and swan amongst white rose vines and fresh fruits, the luxury chocolate truffles inside are handmade in Los Angeles daily.

Place cocoa powder in small bowl. Roll each ball in cocoapowder to coat. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve. Best eaten within2-3 days, as avocado oils may turn rancid. To decorate these, all I did was coat them in chocolate, stick them in the freezer for 10 minutes or so to set them, then drizzle them with a little dark chocolate, and quickly sprinkle them with some chopped hazelnuts and flaky sea salt before they set! Seriously so easy.
These Healthy Nutella Sea Salt Truffles are an incredibly delicious chocolatey treat, made with only 6 ingredients! All you need: dates, hazelnuts, vanilla, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, and sea salt! They taste just like nutella, and they're much better for you!
Using a fork, carefully coat the balls in the chocolate, letting the excess drain off through the fork. Repeat until all truffles are coated. Place truffles in the freezer for about 10 minutes, until the chocolate sets.
Drizzle the truffles with thin drizzles of dark chocolate, then quickly sprinkle with the chopped hazelnuts and flaky sea salt (the chocolate will set up fast because the balls are cold!) Repeat until all truffles are decorated. Enjoy! These keep great in the fridge for up to 2 weeks!

You'd never guess these silky-smooth sugar free truffles are made with avocado! Treat yourself to glorious chocolatey goodness without the carb count. Even better, keto chocolate truffles are ready to eat in 10 minutes.
Sugar substitute. I sweetened my truffles with powdered erythritol. Using 92% dark chocolate, 2 tablespoons was just right. If you use an unsweetened chocolate, you may need to up it to 3 tablespoons. The Lily's chocolate chips are sweet already, so 1 tablespoon may be sufficient.
I just made these and I now have my chocolate fix for the rest of the day, I think! I couldn't squeeze out 3/4 cup avocado, so I added 1/4 cup of ground walnuts and about 1/2 tsp. of almond extract. I forgot the salt but sprinkled them with kosher salt. So very good! You have made my journey to lose weight and eat healthy so much easier! Bless you!Liz
Instead of using chocolate at all, can I make my own using cacao butter, cocoa powder, erythritol and vanilla extract? Then simply add the avocados to that mixture? What ratio of cacao butter to cocoa powder to Erithrytol should I use in this case?
Made these today and they're so nice, just like chocolate truffles. I don't like avocado's at all so was a little worried but needn't have been! Fabulous hit of chocolate, going to be a favourite of mine! Thank you!
Thanks so much for the tip Anne! I must check out the Callebaut. I have come across the name but never ordered any.My guess with the frozen avocado is that it will probably behave like all other defrosted fruits - it'll be a bit meh once room temperature. I wonder if it'll be creamy or watery? It MIGHT be ok one you've mixed in the chocolate (especially if the Callebaut is good). You'll have to give it a try. 2ff7e9595c
