Delete Post on Facebook iPad App in Minutes: Easy and Fast Method

If you have allowed several apps to post on your Facebook Timeline or business page, they may post stories that you don't want to display on your Timeline. If you're not at the office and don't have access to a computer, you can use your iPhone to delete posts from your Facebook account. Although you can't delete the posts from your Timeline directly, the Activity Log enables you to manage all content on your account. This feature is especially useful if one of your posts contains some typos or incorrect information.

This wikiHow teaches you how to delete the posts you've shared on a friend's or your own Timeline using, Facebook's iOS app. Facebook doesn't allow you to delete all your posts at once, but you can quickly find and delete your old posts on the Activity Log, or limit your old Timeline posts to your friends.

You can remove posts and comments that you have made on Facebook using the mobile app. You can remove comments others have made on something you've posted, but you cannot delete comments they've left on posts you didn't create. The process for deleting posts and comments is nearly identical for Android and iPhone.

Want to know how to delete your posts on Facebook? Maybe there's an embarrassing post that you shared years ago and now you want to get rid of it for good. Now is the time to permanently delete such posts from your Facebook account.

The post will now be moved to your account's trash bin. Keep in mind that deleted posts will remain in the trash for 30 days. The trash bin allows you to restore the posts that you deleted accidentally.

Luckily, Facebook has an option called Manage Your Activity which allows you to review the posts and status updates shared by you on your timeline. You can quickly go back and delete the posts that you don't want others to see.

Tagged posts shared by Facebook friends and followers also appear on your timeline. You can delete such posts using the same steps as above. Removing people that you don't know from your friend list can also have a positive impact on your Facebook timeline, as fewer people will be able to tag you in their posts.

Facebook makes it easy to delete your old posts with the Activity Log. Go to your profile, click the three-dot menu, and select Activity Log. This will show you every action you, or another user, has taken on your Timeline, including reactions, shares, comments, tags, and posts. The results can be filtered by date or a specific person.

When you come across something you want to remove, select the three-dot menu to delete, hide, or archive; unlike a comment; or remove tag. If you wish to remove multiple posts at a time, tick the box next to the actions, then select Archive or Trash on the top right.

If you prefer to use Facebook on the web, perhaps because you like a larger screen on which to see content and a full-size keyboard to type out your posts, the following is how to delete a bunch of old posts.

Want to clear your Facebook account of all your old posts? Until recently, if you wanted to delete any of your Facebook posts, you had to scroll through your profile and do it one by one. Thankfully, Facebook launched a feature called Manage Activity to make this process a whole lot easier, allowing you to remove all old posts.

Prior to this, there are/were some browser extensions that would go through your activity log and delete posts and content based on specified criteria. In response to this, Facebook broke this by (again) re-designing the UI/UX. This tool is dubious, and people need to understand that once you post something on a platform like Facebook, regardless of their claims here, that content will be preserved and used/analyzed forever. That includes certain three-letter US agencies, who have unfettered access to content and analytics.

Perhaps, you have deleted your Facebook posts by mistake and you want to get them back. But do you know how to recover deleted Facebook posts? In this post, MiniTool Software will show you how to do this on your computer and mobile device.

However, if you delete your Facebook posts by mistake, you must want to get them back. If the posts were deleted within 30 days, you can simply restore them from Trash. Where is Facebook Trash? How to recover deleted Facebook posts? Keeps reading.

if (!window.Zephr) window.Zephr = ; if (!window.Zephr.outcomes) window.Zephr.outcomes = ; window.Zephr.outcomes['nativead'] = featureLabel: 'nativead', outcomeId: 'transformation/2', outcomeLabel: 'Show Article' ; Facebook recently launched a Manage Activity tool that allows you to delete and/or archive your past posts in bulk so that other users can no longer see them. Once you delete a post, it will remain in the trash for 30 days before it is permanently deleted from the social network. This will give you time to restore a post if you change your mind.

Deletion is permanent. If you don't want to permanently delete these posts, hide the posts instead, so they no longer appear on your profile timeline. Select Hide Posts on Facebook.com or tap Hide from timeline on the app. To unhide these posts, go to the Activity Log on your profile and then select the Hidden from timeline tab.

On Facebook, you can create your posts or comment on your friends' posts. You can also edit and delete your posts and comments. For help on how to create, edit, and delete posts and comments, make a selection from the list below and follow the instructions.

Of course, one simple solution is to deactivate your account and start over. However, this means you lose all friends and followers, and any other public or private information you have associated with your account. That leaves deleting unwanted posts from your account. The problem is that if you have thousands of posts to get rid of, deleting them one by one can be seriously time-consuming, not to mention tedious. Thankfully, for many social media sites, there are workarounds that enable you to delete posts in bulk.

An alternative option allows you to sort posts by specific categories. Go to Activity Log and select a filter. Then you can click the pencil icon next to each post and select Delete. You can still only delete one post at a time using this method.

It is possible to delete posts in bulk from Facebook profiles using a browser extension. One such plugin is Social Book Post Manager for Chrome, which is free to use. It enables you to batch-delete profile posts, as well as carry out other batch actions such as hiding or unhiding multiple posts.

Note that the Year and Month fields include Select All options. This means you could effectively delete posts on a monthly or yearly basis or delete every post. However, to delete posts from a specific time period such as three months or three years, you will have to do this one month or one year at a time respectively.

Disclaimers for this extension include the fact that deleted posts cannot be recovered, so downloading your Facebook data beforehand (see above) may be a wise move. Additionally, as alluded to in the speed notes, the extension might need to be run multiple times for all posts to be deleted.

It's really useful if you started using Facebook back when it was focused on college students -- I joined in 2004, and I found posts I had totally forgotten about. Now you can go through and delete all of those things at once, instead of one by one.

Tap Draft Posts to access, view and manage your saved draft, unpublished posts in your Facebook page. You can delete a draft post or publish it immediately from there. Tap the down arrow icon next to the draft, you will see the drop-down menu with Post Now and Delete items. Here you can choose to delete or publish a draft post in your Facebook Page.

Tap Scheduled Posts to access, view and manage your scheduled posts in Facebook Page. You can add a scheduled page or link to your saved items, reschedule a post to publish it on another time, publish a scheduled post immediately, or delete a scheduled post.

Install Facebook Pages Manager app on your iPhone, login using the same account from the Facebook app. Then switch to the Tools tab from the bottom of the Pages Manager. Here you can access and manage the Post drafts and Scheduled posts in your Facebook Pages. For example, you can edit, post or delete a draft post, edit, save, reschedule, publish or delete a scheduled post in the Facebook Pages Manager app.

There are many reasons you might want to delete your old Facebook posts. Maybe you've got some embarrassing old posts, photos or comments that you don't want everyone to see ? Or maybe you just feel like a fresh start...

Whatever the reason, Facebook does allow you to delete old posts in bulk. But it can be a very slow and tedious process to go through all your history and clean it up. So here, in addition to the official methods, we'll look at a much better alternative solution to quickly remove your old Facebook posts in bulk.

Facebook recently launched a new feature called Manage Activity that makes it easier to manage your old posts. With this new tool, you can now archive or delete your old Facebook posts in bulk.

Posts sent to the Recycle bin will stay there for 30 days before being deleted, unless you choose to manually delete or restore them before then. This gives you some time in case you change your mind about deleting old posts.

Facebook also has another method you can use to delete or remove posts from your timeline from within the Facebook app or website. The steps below will guide you to delete your Facebook post history in bulk.

The posts you can't bulk delete can be removed individually later, but returning to your Facebook timeline and clicking on the three dots next to the post on the timeline, and choosing either "Hide from timeline", "Delete", or "Remove tag".

For these reasons, the official method of deleting Facebook posts in bulk isn't ideal. Instead, we recommend you try the free browser extension below, which works reliably to bulk-delete your Facebook posts and other activity. 2ff7e9595c
